Alstroemeria psittacina, with the common name’s Peruvian lily, Parrot flower, Parrot lily, Lily of the Incas, Princess lily and New Zealand Christmas bell.

The tropical flower is found in Brazil and Argentina. But prefers cooler temperature Grows well in Zones 7 to 10.

The bloom on this plant is one of the most brilliant and explosive shows around. The colors are many, and the blossom is breath taking. My wife uses it often in flower arrangements as the green leaves go with most flowers and will last about 2 weeks in a vase. The flowering part of the plant is separate from its foliage.
