Deep Pile Adult Cot Side Bumpers - Fleece Bed Bumpers - Avoid Patient Entrapment

Bed bumpers are used for all different purposes, the main one being to help avoid patient entrapment when using profiling/hospital beds. They will also offer protection for those who spend the majority of their time in beds, reducing the risk of falls, injury or self harm. Featuring a full length hook & loop fastening, these are easily secured onto bed rails and easily removed for cleaning.

These bed bumpers are made from a deep pile Polyester Fleece which are air permeable. This means air can pass through the fleece freely, so if the user becomes stuck against the bumper for what ever reason and are unable to move their head. This fleece bumper will allow air to still be passed through, allowing the user to still be able to breathe until help arrives. 

This reduces the risk of asphyxiation and makes patients more comfortable and reassured. Because this fleece has the ability to let air pass freely through, these are an ideal bumper for patients who suffer from fits or those who may move around a lot when sleeping.
