Large and detailed antique copper engraved map of Savoy, realised by Augustin Placide de Sainte-Hélène (1648-1734), brother-in-law of Pierre Duval and Augustin Dechaussée, from a map of Guillaume Delisle (1675-1726).

The map extends from Piemonte in south to Lausanne in north. A nice decorative cartouche with a globe crowned by fleur-de-lys. In left upper side, a table describing the different ducheys.

Size with margins : 76 x 56 cm / 29,9 x 22 inches

Condition : very good condition, on strong paper, very well engraved, large margins, in colors.

Edition : Paris, XVIIIe Century, dated 1782, edited by Dezauche.
