The Rain Bird 1300 Series manifold fittings are design specifically to allow quick and easy installation of solenoid valve with an underground chamber.
The PVC Manifold system RB1300 series have male connectors and therefore should be used with female valves. The manifold system RB1300 has been specially design with a telescoping system and with big o-rings in order to allow valve exchange without any additional work and without using teflon tape for the assembly.
