Kindly note whilst the clock manufacturer is British I noticed after I’d listed the item that the mechanism has a discreet made in China mark on it and it appears the manufacturers had imported the mechanism as many UK manufacturers for economical purposes are having whole or parts of their goods made abroad under licence and/or under their supervision for quality standards in order to save on labour costs etc.
