Hand and Heart magazine, Volume I of 1876, containing a clean run from the first issue, No. 1 January 7 1876 through to No. 43 Oct 27 1876. Large and heavy folio. 688pp. Buckram with gilt to spine. Front board with cracks and virtually removed from spine, attached by tail of spine. Rear board much firmer with a few inches of cracks. Contents and binding tight with a handful of pages loose but all appearing present. Generally clean enough, some mild to foxing spots here and there throughout, no inscriptions noticed nor any annotations or drawings. Not ex-library. A nice example of the first edition in need of some repairs to the spine.
