Sulfuric acid has been reclassified as a regulated substance. As of February 1, 2021, individuals wishing to purchase, own or use sulfuric acid above a concentration of 15% will need a special license to do so. This means that it will be a crime to purchase or own a motorcycle battery not filled with a separate acid pack without a valid license, as the electrolyte contains sulfuric acid with a concentration greater than 15%.
Therefore, to activate and use this battery, you must go to an authorized center for the treatment of this hazardous material such as auto electricians, workshops or authorized centers.
