SANATOGEN - THE FOOD - TONIC heavy cardboard advertising sign that was made in the early 1900s by the AMERICAN LITHOGRAPHIC COMPANY, NY; sign measures 16 1/2 X 22 inches.


SANATOGEN was also known as BRAIN FOOD & was invented in Germany by the BAUER CHEMICAL COMPANY in 1898.


CONDITION :   the sign has light wear & scuffing, particularly ON THE CORNERS & along the edges; slight overall toning from age .


The sign may have been a fold out sign at one time, as there's a strip of cardboard in the center on the back.
