About the Paper Prints:

Each Limited Edition Fine Art Print is printed on archival presentation-quality, 260 GSM / 10 Mil, photographic paper created using the highest quality inks and archival techniques. Photographs do not do this paper substrate justice as it practically "glows" on the wall.

Our art prints are produced on acid-free papers using archival inks to guarantee that they last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. These prints include a 1" white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting, if desired.

The Story Behind the Print:

The highest scoring aerial fighter ace of all-time, Erich Hartmann would claim an astonishing 352 victories in 1,404 combat missions. Referred by the name "The Black Devil" by his Russian opponents, Hartmann flew the vast majority of his missions on the Eastern Front and received the Luftwaffe's highest military decoration - The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords, and Diamonds. He would survive the war by surrendering to U.S. forces but was handed over to the Red Army. He served 10 years (of a 25 year sentence) in Russian prison camps before being released in 1955.
