This is an open box item, no attempted assembly. It is SO close to mint. On one of the handles, there's a small spot where the handle must have rubbed the box and it has a *slight* scuff on the finish. You have to be looking close to see it, I promise. I took a close-up of the spot, it's just a minor discoloration. It didn't buff out when I rubbed it on my shirt, but it might buff out with a little elbow grease.

Handing

Certain products are Handed and require a Right or Left designation. When facing your door from the exterior side, whichever side that the hinges are on determines the handing.
