This Domino XM2 is the highest quality quick action throttle available on the market, and is available at a brilliant price. This italian made product from Domino was designed in partnership with the Moto 2 Series , which is part of the infamous MotoGP Racing Series. This is used in the highest levels of elite motorcycle racing including Moto GP, WSBK & BSB Series.

What is a Quick Action Throttle and What Does it Do?

In simple terms, the quick action throttle gives you more throttle for less twist of the grip, giving much faster throttle response. Whilst these throttles are a popular item used in racing, for obvious reasons, they are also very popular to customers who would like to use this for road use as opposed to on the track, especially for longer trips where having reduced throttle travel can ease the strain on your wrist.

Throttle

The stunning XM2 Throttle has a lightweight aluminium alloy throttle housing with titanium screws, as well as being lightweight this is a strong and durable piece of equipment designed to endure the constant usage of riders. It is intended for use on models with 22mm 7/8" handlebars (standard size for most motorcycles, including the one in the title). 

Grips

This kit also comes supplied with a pair of stunning Domino Road Race open ended grips, meaning bar end weights and brake and clutch lever guards can be used. These are designed for racing usage, are very comfortable and have huge popularity amongst our customers. these are also used in the MotoGP Series. We can supply this kit with different coloured grips (see above). The grips have a recess so that safety wire can be attached, preventing slipping in harsh conditions. 

Cables

Included is a Domino universal cable kit, with all the parts required to fit your motorcycle, the cables simply need to be cut down to the required length, and the cable end adjusters need to be fitted and then you just need to screw on the special torque snap nipples. This is a push/pull cable operation but it can still be used on motorcycles that only use one cable. The inner cables are factory crimped on one end with special torque snap nipples supplied for the other.

Cams

It also comes with 3 variable cams which are easily interchangeable, and allows you to adapt the throttle response to your needs quickly and hassle free. The Red Cam is 53° and is

intended for track & rack usage, the white cam is 55° and is for normal road use and the green cam is 60° which is for wet conditions. 

Spares

Please note that on motorcycles where the throttle is built into the switch gear, you will need another switch gear, which we sell in our store.
