Real Cedar Wood Trunks

Tapered, Bark-Detailed Trunks for Model Fir Trees

Made From Real Port Orford (White) Cedar

Made Right Here in USA

Dear Modelers: .

These exclusive Cedar Wood Trunks make it easier than ever to make quality, tall fir trees for your layout. The principle for using these to make trees is easy: Just tear off a chunk of our Green Branches Foliage and stick it on the trunk! Made from Port Orford Cedar (Chamaecyparis lawsoniana), they are tapered to a relatively fine point. We then add the bark detail, engraved using our very own machine, aka "Bob". We drill a small hole in the bottom of each one, and color them using water-based non-toxic dyes.  As you can see from the photos, these trunks do an excellent job of representing "Old Growth" model fir trees. This product is like no other available today.

Included are Ten (10) trunks each of a Eleven Inch Tall height (+/- 1/2"), diameter is 3/8".
Also included are a sample of our Dead Branches and the pins to set the finished trees (or dead Snag trees) on the layout. 11" and 13" trunks include some metal pins as well, but you will need to cut the ends sharp first.
-->Please Note: We sell the Green Branches Foliage separately, and we also have Fir Tree Kits.

I want you to have fantastic fir trees on your layout or diorama!  These real wooden trunks will help do the trick. This is an eBay Special Introductory Offer.

Diorama, Model Trees, Vanna the HO Preiser Moose, and any other figures and/or deer are for scale reference only. They are not included in this auction.

Coastmans Scenic Products (no apostrophe) is proud to say we have been offering handmade unique fir trees and fir tree kits online since 2011. Our roots go all the way back to 2001 when we started out as Ramjett, offering our tree kits in hobbyshops and at shows.  In 2010 we made the first trunk tapering machine. In 2012 we made a bigger one, and added the Bob Barker Bark Detail Machine. In 2016 we completely redesigned our Green Branch Foliage, and did it again in 2020. To this day we strive to create the (somewhat unattainable) Perfect Model Fir Tree. Almost all of our customers purchase trees more often than once. We have Ready-Made Fir Trees, and other scenic items too!

If you try a Coastmans Product today, watchout! You might get hooked!
