Or just prefer the older look of fiber washers but want a more modern seal?

Red safety valve o-rings. They withstand temps from -40°C - 260°C and are oil resistant so will hold up just like the black o-rings do.

1 red o-ring for the safety valve top

1 red o-ring for the safety bottom

As these are made from rubber they seal really well so you can just nip the valve finger tight for a seal unlike fibre washers that need an extra nip with pliers sometimes to get them to seal.

These perish over time and then leak steam making it impossible to run an engine due to lack of steam pressure. Simply remove the old washers and fit these. The safety top washer can be fiddly to roll over the dome but they do fit over

Always handy to have a pack of these laying around.
