A good Napoleonic period Light Infantry officers, blue and gilt sword. Blade is engraved with Union Jack stand of arms and Light Infantry strung bugle, along with floral engraving, a good percentage of its original blue and gilding still remains two both sides. The steel hilt has a ā€œDā€ guard design, with a shagreen wire bound grip. Complete with its black leather scabbard, with steel fittings. A very rare variant that is in good condition, circa 1800
