This is a vintage teddy bear with a porcelain doll face and hands and Native American styling. This was purchased in Alaska decades ago. It is a well made doll with no defects other than basic wear from sitting in a corner in our family cabin bunk room. The reason it’s in such good shape is that the kids were afraid to play with it because we were told it had real human hair, not sure if that’s true but it sure looks like it. The face has warrior paint and the loincloth is real leather. The drum is made of tanned stretched leather. The amulet pouch/purse is real suede. There is a silver thunderbird plate with suede strings and heavy ceramic beads with intricate design on the back of the head. The joints work great and she sits nicely. It is approximately 17 inches long and 10 inches wide. We are cleaning out a family cabin with decades of clothing, bedding, toys and home decor. It’s like a time machine spanning 50 years! Slowly listing everything.
