Take a look at this wonderful vintage wood frame and highly collectible engraved print . This ANTIQUE/VINTAGE OVAL WOOD GILDED GOLD FRAME and ENGRAVED TESSIER PLATE has so much grace and style. The detailed wood carving is quite special and gives this frame a classic rich look. This antique/vintage frame is in great condition with minor expected aging wear including some cracks and possible repairs. (see all photos). 

The engraving is styled Livre de Six Bouquets. This is one of the six plates for "Livre de Corbeilles et Vases de Fleurs" (A Book of Baskets and Vases of Flowers) which were engraved by J.J. Avril after paintings by Louis Tessier. The plates were hand colored and the coloring varies from impression to impression. These impressions are a beautiful example of Tessier's eye for design, with his elegant use of space and the vivid color combinations by Avril. Despite the formality of the still life, the fun, haphazard arrangement of these fantastic flowers makes for a charming yet highly-stylized image. Shipped by USPS Priority Mail or FedEx, based upon market/item considerations.
