Mansun frontman Paul Draper once boasted that this album is 30 different melodies combined into 12 tracks and that there isn't a single chorus present. He's just about right on both counts, and while Six is a difficult listen at first, repeated listens reveal a wealth of musical and lyrical rewards and place you in awe of the band's talent.
