The East Caribbean States 5 Dollar banknote was issued by the Eastern Caribbean Bank in 2008. The banknote’s obverse displays Queen Elizabeth II wearing the golden jubilee necklace of Queen Victoria and the tiara of Grand Duchess Vladimir. The Central Bank headquarters building, a sea turtle, a Carib bird and flowers, and a rectangular foil patch in the form of a fish are also evident on the front side. The reverse displays the Admiral’s House which is located in Antigua and Barbuda, a map of the Caribbean islands, the Trafalgar Falls cascading in Dominica, a fish, and a silver compass rose. The 145 x 70 mm paper bill carries a solid security thread and a 2-mm wide windowed security thread with a demetalized ECCB 5. Additionally, the banknote bears a watermark that reflects an image of Queen Elizabeth II, an electrotype ECCB, and Cornerstones. This banknote is in uncirculated condition.
