The Congo Democratic Republic 100 Franc banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Congo in 2013. It comes in a combination of blue and green. Featured on its obverse are an elephant in the Virunga National Park and the bank monogram. The reverse of the paper bill depicts the Inga II hydroelectric dam on the Congo River. The paper bill is equipped with a solid security thread with a demetalized REP DEM DU CONGO, a watermark that reflects the head of an Okapi or a Congolese giraffe, and a registration device in the form of a 5-pointed star in a diamond design. The banknote is 150 x 70 mm in size and bears the signature of the bank governor Deogratias Mutombo Mwana Nyembo. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
