For sale is a very rare tin Kewpie Tip Tray "Le Fermier" (The Farmer) that was one of only seven displayed in the Museum of Montbrison, Paris, France from March 1, 1977 to March 1, 1978 by Lois Holman in behalf of The International Rose O'Neill Club.

Condition is excellent with no scratches, dents, paint wear or stains.  It measures approximately 6 5/8"L x 4 5/8"W.  The tray is black with goldenrod yellow trim.

Informational Note:  Kewpie dolls, first manufactured in 1912, were modeled after comic strip characters drawn by Rose O'Neil starting in 1909. The cartoon characters were baby "Cupid" figures, and the word "Kewpie" is a variation of "Cupid."
