This is a set of 6 seals to refurbish the instruments and the dashboard for the MORRIS OXFORD (1959-'71) cars with the twin instrument layout.
Also used on the AUSTIN A55/60 (1959-'69), WOLSELEY 15/50&16/60 (1959-'71), RILEY 4/68 &4/72 (1959-'72) and MG MAGNETTE MK111 & 1V series of "Farina" styled cars.
Included in the kit are:-
2 seals to go between the instrument and the dash, these seals are of the O ring type which are far more resilient than the original square section seal.
2 seals that go between the chrome bezel and the glass (note; chrome bezels in photo, NOT included)
2 seals that go between the glass and the inner bezel ring (note; matt black inner bezels in photo, NOT included)
The glass to bezel and glass to inner ring are the correct "soft" material to cushion and trap the glass; many of the car instruments mass produced by Smiths and Jaeger used a warm resin material and this can go brittle over the years.
