• Fold away instead of reclamping:
The stop has a unique fold-away function for front-end machining
with exact return to the previously set position and a recurring accuracy of less than +/- 0.02 mm.
Your clamped workpiece can thus also be viewed from the previously attached side,
can be machined with high precision without the risk of collision with the stop (see article images).
(If the stop is not used, it does not have to be removed as with other manufacturers
because these stand in the way, but can easily be folded out of the way,
NO annoying on and off any more!)
• Can also be used without the folding function:
If no folding function is required, the stop can also be clamped completely
and can therefore be used rigidly like a standard workpiece stop.
• The perfect stop position for every workpiece:

- So why should you choose a Matesko® workpiece stop
from Bodenschatz?
The unique folding function cannot be offered by any other manufacturer. This not only saves a lot of time during production because it often prevents the part from being reclamped, but also when the stop is not needed! Then it does not have to be removed like conventional competitor products, which are simply in the way, but can simply be folded out of the way!
The entire construction and handling is significantly more advantageous for the user: With a classic 5-axis "robot arm" workpiece stop, you can easily adjust your own settings when clamping the upper screw, and these stops can more easily be accidentally adjusted by hitting the parts too roughly become. The construction simply has too many pivot points which are too far apart, which means that the lever is correspondingly large.
Our Matesko® is many times more stable because it only has a single pivot point, but thanks to the inclined rows of holes it is just as possible to strike all positions in three-dimensional space as with a 5-axis stop.
Faster and easier use: Conventional stops are often attached to the table with sliding blocks and then have to be clamped on several axes, is a vice placed higher, e.g. for a special part, or if the vice is used on a table without grooves, the 5-axis stop cannot be used at all. Our workpiece stop, is connected to the vice and can therefore be used anywhere. Magnetic competing products are also "connected" to the vice, but are not an alternative. Anyone who has ever brought a magnet into contact with steel chips knows that it is difficult to clean the magnet afterwards - costs time and nerves. If the magnet and the support surface are not properly cleaned 100% of chips, the stop will cut or is generally imprecise. In addition, the holding force of the magnet naturally has its limits and you need a good contact surface otherwise it cannot even fully develop its limited holding force. So these attacks are not a good solution either.
