with 25 copper engraved plates of the serie titled "Capitano de Baroni", from Jacques Callot (1592-1635). 

The prints are in perfect condition. 

This imprint is particularly faithful, with regard to the characters; much less with regard to the backgrounds, the distant, the secondary characters. 

The paper is a very fine bistre velin, lightly glued to the centre. 

Seductive complete set of this mythical series created in 1622.

All plates are signed by the author "Iacomo Callot in et fc", "Callot in et fc", "Callot fc"

and numbered from 1 to 25.

On the plates, the stamp of the Ministere de la Police Générale, 19th century.
