■VOP 9 is a mixture overdrive that combines clean boost sound with overdrive sound. With minimal drive level control, the overdrive circuit acts as a -12 dB attenuator and the clean boost circuit acts as a 6 dB booster, providing clean flat boost sound. Overdrive sound is added as drive level control is turned up.

■All operational amplifiers use the proven JRC NJM4558D IC for low-noise overdrive sound. The overdrive circuit is the same type as the OD 808/OD 9, which has a diode in the negative feedback loop of the operational amplifier.

■4 True bypass switching of the PDT mechanical switch, no degradation of sound quality due to the switching circuit, not only bypass but also effects.
