Antique Chinese Green Quartz Hand Carved Lamp "Works Great". The green quartz portion of the lamp was made c1890-c1900 or so. The bottom portion is from an American Lamp Base. The is a custom made Sculpted hand carved wood base for the green quartz portion indigenous to China . The top of the quartz lamp has a hand carved Sculpted Bird. The top portion pulls open and up and inside the Quartz is a small bulb which I have replaced-- it works Great! It works by turning on the knob in the back on the base which lights up the inside of the quartz portion-Beautiful!! The pull chain item turns on/off the light bulb portion. It is ready to place a shade of your preference. This lamp works great and is in EXCELLENT CONDITION!
