Two charming art prints...
#1
Artist: Barbara Krupp
Medium: lithographic print of a watercolor and ink painting
Subject: lavender and blue flowers in a basket
Edition: 16 of 1000 as shown below the signature
Date: unknown (vintage)
Size: sight is 3.5” X 5.5”; mat size is 8” X 10”; double bevel matted with textured mat board.
Provenance; from a gallery collection in Rockport, Mass.
I did not remove this item from it’s protective shrink wrap to scan it, so it is slightly out of focus. Also the colors are much brighter on the screen. It’s more muted in the actual print. The liner mat color is also lighter and more neutral.
#2
Artist: C. Holding (see bio)
Medium: lithographic print of a watercolor painting
Subject: “Bermuda Hibiscus”
Signed by the artist
Edition: unknown
Date: unknown (vintage)
Size: Image 6” X 4-1/2”; mat size: 10” X 8” (horizontal) to fit in a standard sized frame.
Condition: very good to mint
Provenance: Windjammer gallery in Bermuda
It is printed on nice quality white paper, with a subtle texture. The outer mat is cream and the liner mat is a soft grey green, which echoes tones in the greenery of the plant.
