Item(s) condition
This is how I interpret condition of the item(s) in
my listings. This chart gives a general idea of the condition, but photos are
usually the best way to get an idea of the condition. You can also contact me
if you need any additional details. It is important to keep in mind that I
mainly sell secondhand products, so you should not expect perfection as any
product will have traces of their previous owner. I voluntarily do not use
terms such as mint or like new since I believe they can create unattainable
expectations.
"Brand new" is used for items
which still have their original seal, which mean we can’t show the insides
without removing the seal. There might still be some cosmetic blemishes, like
slightly broken wrap, so please refer to pictures, item description or contact
us for more details.
"Very Good" means that even though
it has been used before, item is overall very good looking. It might still have
minor signs of usage which can easily be overlooked, but is still in overall
very good shape. Any blemishes would be minor, such as shelf wear or very light
scratches. This is the highest condition that we use since I do not believe
"like new" can effectively describes pre-owned items.
"Good" applies to the majority of
pre-owned items. It means that the item has cosmetic details that are more or
less noticeable without being important. Photos gives a better view of the
exact condition. For exemple, common problems include stickers or sticker
residue, noticeable wear, scratches on disc, etc. Those items still work and
should satisfy users.
"Acceptable" identifies objects
that have major cosmetic problems, even though it are still in working
condition. Problems can vary from torn labels to crushed boxes, and other
similar problems. These items are mostly recommended for those who just want
the item itself, but you should steer clear if you care about condition.
"Used" is for items which are
harder to describe. This grading applies usually to lots since the condition
may vary since there are so many details that makes it hard to use a single
description. Always take a look to the photos for details but feel free to
contact me if you require additional details.
