Antique French Dovetailed Copper Glue Pot Double Boiled - Cabinetmaker's tool
This bain-marie was used in the past (19th century) to heat the glue needed to assemble the wooden elements of furniture.
There is only the lower part of the bain-marie here. There is a slight slit at the bottom. Please see all pictures.
