KZS is made of treated flame retardant mesh fabric with camouflage colour.

The hood of the jacket has increased dimensions and allows you to wear it in the "combat" position on top of hats, steel helmet of all types of gas masks and, if necessary, cover the face. To fix the hood on the head there is a front tie of braid. The sleeves of the jacket allow you to completely cover hands and protect them from direct exposure to radiation. Sleeves can also be rolled up and buttoned as shown on photo n3 (each sleeve has two loops outside and two buttons inside). Straight cut pants are worn over the boots. Pants have elastic cord in waist and ankles. Also there are slots for use of pockets of the pants under the Kzs.

Protective Mesh Suit (KZS) is designed to increase the level of protection of the skin from burns of light radiation of a nuclear explosion when wearing it on top of OZK (Combined arms protective kit), uniforms, special clothing made of flame retardant and ordinary fabrics, as well as to protect them from thermal destruction.

The KZS suit can be used as a camouflage and is a means of periodic wearing. The costume is painted in different shades of camouflage and depends on the area where military activities are held.
