Mercedes Benz A Class W177 (2018+), CLA W118 (2019+), B W247 (2018+).

The body Styling of the Mercedes A/B and CLA class is bold with some great lines to the bodywork. However good the design from Mercedes is, they have forgotten some very important factors and that is stones and debris being flicked up off the ground from the tyre! This is a well know problem with these cars that over time many chips form on the lower doors, arch’s and side-skirts leaving a horrible pebble dashed look.

Carbonwurks decided to eradicate this problem with a simple, cost effective add on part that stops the vast majority of any stones or debris being flicked up the side of the car and damaging the paintwork. The Arch Guards are made from 100% pure gloss carbon fibre. We start off with a slab of compressed 100% carbon fibre and CNC machine out our guards. The carbon is a 2x2 twill which is the most popular type of carbon used at the moment. These are incredibly light, super strong and more than anything they look fantastic! This type of Autoclaved carbon is the same type that Formula 1 components are made of, they will not shatter or crack and will stand up to some serious punishment. The finish is a raw gloss carbon, these are not lacquered but make use of a UV stable resin giving a super smooth and hard wearing finish that won't chip like a lacquered finish.

Fitment is incredibly easy (install guide supplied) and can be done in less than 5 minutes per side. The guards use the original OEM mushroom clips to secure themselves to the inner arch and also supplied pre-installed is a high bond double sided tape to prevent any rubbing and to give a very secure fit. The guards however are still completely removable.

Here at Carbonwurks we design, develop and produce full Prepreg Carbon Fibre parts as well as offering CFRP (Carbon Fibre reinforced polymer) parts too for mainly the automotive world. However this is not the only thing we offer.

Some parts that are not under stress or load don't necessarily need to be made out of full Prepreg Carbon Fibre, and for this reason we also offer a lamination/skinning service to turn original parts into Carbon Fibre.

Alongside the Carbon Fibre parts we also design other automotive components and retail only the best automotive performance products that we see fit.

Payment

We accept Paypal transactions directly through eBay or our website which can handle card payments too even if not a Paypal account holder.

Bank transfers are also accepted, please contact us for invoicing and details.

Payment must be made in full before the item(s) are released.

Shipping

Q) How long does it take to receive my order?

If the parts are in stock then dispatch usually can be the same or next day. Some parts however can be ordered on backorder but may take anywhere from 1-5 weeks to dispatch due to manufacturing times. Please be aware that estimated delivery times may vary depending on how busy the workshop is and that during particularly busy periods, these deadlines might be extended. Please ensure that you supply an e-mail address on ordering and we will e-mail you to notify you when your items have been dispatched. Once items have been dispatched, delivery within mainland UK is next day. International orders can take 2-6 days for delivery. We send all of our products using insured and tracked methods so there are no concerns for you if any products are lost or damaged in transit.

Q) What happens if my order is lost or damaged by the courier in transit?

We always send items using insured and tracked methods, so there's no risk to you at all. Just let us know about the problem immediately and we'll arrange for a new part to be sent in exchange as soon as possible. Please ensure that you check the goods before accepting them from the courier or alternatively sign for the parcel as unchecked. If the goods arrive clearly damaged please either refuse delivery or sign as damaged with clear photos to be taken before unwrapping the packaging.

Returns

We hope you will be happy with your purchase from Carbonwurks, however should you wish to return anything bought from us, we will be happy to refund or exchange a product provided it is returned to us in a completely unused condition with all packaging, etc.

Returns should be made within 14 days and supplied back to us in the original, undamaged packaging.

If we find that the product has not been returned to us in the supplied condition, we reserve the right to refuse a refund on the item(s).

We are unable to offer a refund or exchange on any specially ordered or customised products and any returns that are made not due to a product fault (damage on arrival etc) will incur a 25% restocking fee.

Please note we do not refund delivery charges under any circumstances.
