Pat Oliphant (born 1935) is an Australian-born American artist whose career has spanned more than sixty years. His work focuses mostly on American and global politics, culture, and corruption. He is particularly known for his caricatures of American presidents and other powerful leaders.

This book provides “A Cartoon History of Our Times”.  The book was personally signed by Oliphant in 1970, and includes his famous “penguin” sketch.

The inside pages of the book are in very good condition. The hardcover of the book (front, back and side) shows significant discoloration. The dust jacket of the book is torn in several pages. Please see the pictures for a view of these defects (along with the superb signature and sketch).
