Radio Kfz.62 Under the terms of the Versailles Treaty of 1919, the Reichswehr was limited to produce new types of weapons and military equipment, but the limitation did not apply to cars and it was decided to produce a single chassis in different classes. In 1932-34. a chassis was created, leichter gelandegangiger Einheits-Lastkraftwagen - a light 6 * 6 truck (with a lifting capacity of 2.5 t). On the same base, radio vehicles (buses) Kfz.62 were also produced.
