This is an all natural PREMIUM real facial clay/mud mask. Made and tested by me. The first and 2nd ingredients are clay... no chemicals... no drying preservatives.

"Wickedly extirpate ghastly dirt and undesirable surface secretions in moments. The power contained in this fine earth attains and maintains a beauteous glow beyond the wildest measure of synthesized alchemy."

Sorcery Clay is Bentonite Clay, Clay Soil, Spearmint powder, Dragon's Blood Resin powder (there is phony "dragons blood" filler going around sold on amazon for cheap that smells like fruit punch.. I use the real deal!) , Frankincense Resin powder (again as before the real resin, Boswellia).

Benefits of each ingredient:

BENTONITE CLAY: (of volcanic ash) Is an antibacterial medium and like all clays absorbs toxins and metals unto itself while also absorbing excess oil.. It has been shown to reduce blemishes and dark spots. I have heard and read of it clearing acne but to remain "safe" under FDA as a cosmetic I can't outright make certain medicinal claims ( the truth about raw garlic allicin microbial properties are very real but will not soon be published by the pharmacy right?) .

CLAY SOIL:  70% clay, the rest being limestone and mostly silica/silt  and wholesome minerals from a clean rich source. Of more common geological stratums than bentonite over time under common freshwater beds. The clay here works similarly as the bentonite, but because of how I sieve it in leaving silica and minerals it makes an AMAZING rinsing exfoliant.

SPEARMINT: (Antimicrobial) So originally Sorcery Clay was going to be Aqueous ( wet and ready out of the tin ) , and one of the first decisions for giving it a pleasant aroma was Spearmint. Spearmint contains caffeic acid and helps with inflammation (technically the 1 of 3 astringents involved) as well as provides a cooling effect. Just as the other ingredients it also is anti-bacterial.. One of the benefits to having a dry product like this is shelf life and that it has multiple anti-bacterial properties once wet so your mask for that 10-15 minutes is basically bacteriostatic before rinsing!

DRAGON'S BLOOD RESIN: (Antimicrobial) Dragon's Blood (the genuine) "is a bright red resin which is obtained from different species of a number of distinct plant genera: Croton, Dracaena, Daemonorops, Calamus rotang and Pterocarpus. The red resin has been in continuous use since ancient times as varnish, medicine, incense, and dye."

Dragon's Blood is also anti-inflammatory and it's benefits for your face include toning, collagen promotion as well as wound healing! It also is antimicrobial like the other ingredients.

FRANKINCENSE RESIN: (Antimicrobial) Used to " treat dry skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, scars, and stretch marks." Boswellia serrata is a plant that produces Indian frankincense. It is also known as Indian oli-banum, Salai guggul, and Sallaki in Sanskrit. The plant is native to much of India and the Punjab region that extends into Pakistan.

Instructions.  This is a dry product so it's completely free of any preservatives and when wet the added natural ingredients are antimicrobial. This also helps have a very long shelf life. Just add half a teaspoon or so to your desired amount and mix with 1:1 ratio of water. Adding "too much water" is not an issue because the product will simply expel it and leave you with a spreadable mud.  Apply by rubbing into your skin like a lotion... let set... and rinse while exfoliating.    It's a mild product but if you find your skin is sensitive then I would use a vitamin oil or lotion. I've used it without an after moisturizer and my skin felt soft most of the day... depends on the hardness of your water!
