This is a vintage very good used condition handprinted pottery keg decanter with six shot cups and wooden holder or carrier.  I would suspect this to intended for Schnapps or Whiskey.  The paper label that says "Handarbeit" which translate to hand work or handcraft.  The hand painting if of flowers and is complete and bright. The glaze is crazed, but has no dark spots or staining.   The carrier is designed to cradle the keg and provide storage to hold the barrel shaped cups. This piece is post war era to the 1960's. Both the Barrel and cups are stamped with "Foreign".  The piece stands about 6 3/4 inches tall when setting in the cradle to the top the cap.  The keg is about 5 inches tall to the tip of the cap, about 7 1/2 inches in length from the aft edge of the barrel to the top of the wooden spout, and about 3 3/4 inches across the from and back. The keg cups are about 1 1/4 inches tall, about 1 3/8th inches across the top and hold 0.5 ounces of fluid to the rim. The carrier is about 3 5/8th inches tall, about 7 inches across from hooks hook, and about 4 3/4 inched in length  I do not know the capacity of the keg I have never placed anything in it.  I stumbled across this at a barn sale in upstate New York while visiting my sister about 15 years ago.  I have had it on display ever since.  I just don't have the room anymore so I'm downsizing my stuff. I do combine ship as long as I feel the pieces will not be compromised.  

 

I package all items in recycled peanuts and bubble wrap.  All items are well protected.  However I do require insurance and that is included in the postage fee.   I will be responsible to file all breakage claims and paperwork.  The buyer will be required to provide photos of the breakage and box label on notification of breakage.  Save all items (Including packing material, box, and items broken and unbroken) if we are required to present them when filing the claim with the post office. I'll notify you when the claim is complete to dispose of the items.

 

Please do not pay until I have invoiced you.  The shipping calculator makes mistakes that will overcharge you sometimes.  I will refund any cost over the actual postage, if it is over $1.50. I will never charge you additional postage for an item if the calculator makes a mistake in your favor. 

International customers:  I use the eBay international shipping service.  I can not adjust the price of shipping for international customers.  The invoicing and fees are controlled by eBay.  I do not even see them. International customers will be charged what you see on the screen for shipping.
