Collection of the four parts of William Manchester’s The Death of a President that were published in Look Magazine in 1967. The book deals with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the subsequent actions that occurred. The book, while authorized by the Kennedy Family, was later criticized by them, as it was seen as too intimate and critical of their family and President Johnson.

The early look of the book was split into four separate magazines in 1967. Magazines are in good condition, with some wear to the outer covers. Part Three has some water staining to the back cover that results in the slight crinkling of pages towards the end of the magazine. Illustrated throughout with car, cigarette, and liquor advertisements, among others. Magazines measure 13.25 x 10.5” Please see photos and ask all questions prior to bidding.

Look Magazine was a weekly publication that was in operation from 1937 to 1971.
