Wieko consists of six musicians whose long-term careers have been associated with great Polish bands: Perfect, Budka Suflera, DeMono, Brathanki, Turbo. The common denominator of these older gentlemen...is a permanent hunger to play and create. 19 songs that are the content of the proposed album are the result of a fusion of ideas and dreams of musicians from different lands of the Polish music market. 19 songs stretch from the boundaries of simple fleshy rock from the 1970s to quite intricate fusion borderline arrangements. The way this record is recorded is also completely out of date. All the music was simply played in a live studio.
Texts for the album were written by well-known Polish authors: Bogdan Olewicz, Andrzej Sikorowski, Zbigniew Książek, Stanisław Głowacz, Tomasz Zeliszewski. The band's music is a denial of all conventions of the modern, commercial market. It’s starting everything from scratch, it’s a desire to experience such well-known emotions standing on a whole new stage, as a whole new formation.
