New CD, Polish release

Re-edition of the album "Skandal" in a refreshed layout referring to the poster of the film "Scandal. Molesta's Ewenement ", which can be seen in cinemas from October 2, 2020.

Molesta are the precursors of the so-called "street rap". The group was founded in 1995 on the initiative of rappers Piotr Więcławski (Vienio) and Paweł Włodkowski (Włodi). Their phonographic debut took place in 1997 - for the first time you could hear them on the compilation "Smak BEAT Records" in the hardcore track Osiedlowe Akcje. The album also features Włodek's solo production - Not for fame.

This album is considered by many to be the first Polish hardcore-street production. Indeed, they were the ones who started this trend in Polish hip hop. Many fragments of texts and fragments of songs have become a permanent part of the Polish hip hop culture (every hip hop fan knows such songs as "Sie życia", "Xeroboj", "I knew it would be like this"). Already in this first production you can notice the specific style of Molest. Sparing backing tracks (back then made by DJ 600 VOLT, who collaborated with Włodek and Vień) perfectly harmonize with the boys' sharp lyrics. And in the texts, there are mainly fragments of their everyday life - neighborhood problems, parties, buddies, but also more serious topics - trust in friends, originality, drugs.
