Offered is a lovely antique Chinese famille verse porcelain lidded Tea Jar or Caddy. It is quality hand painted and highly enamelled. I estimate it dates to the first half of the 20th century. There is a red seal form mark on the base. The jar and lid are painted with a mountainous woodland scene with deer and cranes in colors of spring green, pine green, aqua, salmon, gray and brown. Both the lid and the base have a stylized geometric border in colors of aqua, cobalt, pink and yellow. 

The jar measures 5 3/4" in height and is 4 3/8" in diameter . The condition is very nice with no cracks, chips, hairlines, or repairs.
