The Testarossa Spider is a convertible version of the presently famous sports car, the Ferrari Testarossa. Based on the Testarossa various car designers created convertibles. The prototype for our model was developed by Pininfarina, the famous Italian designer. It is a one time creation, made for a well-known Italian automobile industrialist. Mechanically the Spider is almost identical to the Ferrari Testarossa with its outstanding 12 cylinder 4942 engine of 400 hp at 6300 rpm. The body and body parts are made of metal alloy with multiple paint coating. The metal parts include the body, doors, headlight covers, hood and bonnet life, bumper etc. This model features operating steering mechanism, a special door key, opening headlight covers etc. Other parts are made of steel, brass, fiberglass, nylon, polystyrene, ABS and other materials, metallized lettering and self-adhesive serve for decorations.
Up for sale is a extremely beautiful, rare 1/8 Testarossa Spider model kit, box opened just for parts inspection only. • 100% authentic, all original, absolutely NOT fake / recast / copy.
• Made in ITALY.
• Rare discontinued item.
• Condition : Opened box, unassembled.
• Box is in POOR condition, box wear & dent, slightly discolouration/faded on side panel, lots of scratches/scuff marks, few damages on bottom panel.
• Content : All parts has been checked and confirm complete, unassembled, all plastic bags are factory sealed.
• The body and body parts are made of metal alloy with multiple paint coating - seems all are in good conditions.
• All metal body parts are factory sealed in the blister pack.(Photo #3)
• All screws, coil spring and small metal parts are factory sealed in two plastic bags with slightly oxidation/rusting.(Photo #10)
• Pocher does not provide plastic bag for some sprues so I put them in a new plastic bag for protection and prevent from drop out of small parts.
• Some plastic parts had separated from the sprue.
• All tires are in good conditions (Elastic).
• All documentation and Instruction booklet are included - dirty with stains.
• Decals seems in good condition and was still kept in factory sealed plastic bag.
• Very heavy kit - weight about 9kg.
• A extremely beautiful, impressive & important, rare and must have item for both model builder and collector! And truly a great challenge to serious model builder too!
