For sale is a 7 inch 45 RPM vinyl single by Unknown Artists singing children's songs titled "Peter and The Wolf b/w My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean", originally released by VF Records. I bought this used, professionally cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then into a storage box for 45 RPM singles, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The original inner sleeve is brown paper and is graded as Near Mint with minor wrinkles.  In the dead wax between the labels and the last tracks, is machine stamped a logo made up of a backward facing "S", inside a circle, indicating that the record was made at Shelley Products's pressing plant, located in Huntington Station, New York. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound qualities. The labels are black with silver printing directly printed on the labels. These labels are graded as Excellent because of some minor scuffing. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good Plus because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip, otherwise without any scuffs or smudges. I'm play grading this record as Very Good Plus because of occasional pops and low levels of surface noise, never over-powering the music or vocals". It plays all the way through without any skips or lock-ups from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Shelley pressing. I always pack the items for sale in an archival inner sleeve, then put them in either a Kraft paper bubble mailer with sturdy cardboards or cardboard record mailers, always with the records separate from the jackets or its original picture sleeve, then sandwiched between sturdy cardboards before shipping.
