VW / Skoda / SEAT / Audi Bosch EDC15 ECU Immobilizer bypass / Immo delete / 'Immo off' service

This listing is for the immobilizer to be removed from your existing ECU - We are NOT supplying an ECU!!

If you have a problem with you VAG group car with the following problem: Non start / no crank with the immobilizer light flashing & the fault code of 'Start blocked by immobilizer' then it is most likely that the immobilizer / key / cluster or transponder antenna has failed, this is a costly repair - we have an easier solution - send us your ECU and we will remove the immobilizer so the car will start & run as normal.

Please note: If you are replacing your ECU because of an immobilizer fault (Lost key / Transponder problem etc) this ECU will run perfectly although the immobilizer light will be illuminated - this will need to be removed or covered from the instrument cluster (if you do not want it illuminated), if however you have a working key then the light will go out as normal and will not need removing - feel free to contact us for more information.

We can also remove the immobilizer from other VAG ECU's - Bosch  EDC15 / EDC16 / EDC17 / ME7 - Siemens 3PA 3PG and many more! - Please contact us for more information!

Price includes VAT and a UK VAT receipt is supplied with your order.

Any questions please email or call us anytime

If you are purchasing an ECU marked as ‘Plug & Play – Immo off’ This means that the immobiliser has been removed from the ECU & will start & run as normal without the need of a transponder key. First locate the part number on your ECU & ensure it matches the part numbers listed on our listing, if the part numbers differ contact us for advice on compatibility, Then click ‘Buy it now’ and pay via Paypal. If for any reason the car does not start & run correctly you can send the ECU back with your original ECU for bench programming (Data transfer), once bench programmed your immobiliser will be re-installed & you will need a functioning immobiliser key. If you need to do this pack your ECU preferably in bubble wrap in either a small box or Jiffy bag and enclose a brief covering letter stating your ebay user name and any other information we may need. Do not send any other items such as keys etc unless specifically asked to do so.

Our address to send your old ECU to can be found in the 'Business seller details' (It is against ebay policy to put our contact details in a listing)

Terms & Conditions

Please ensure before ordering an ECU that the fault with your car is an ECU fault and your problem has not been misdiagnosed, if we supply a faulty ECU we are happy to provide a replacement or fully refund you if a replacement is unavailable, however if your existing problem persists with your car then the fault will have been misdiagnosed – if you request a refund on this basis then a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund & return postage will be at purchasers expense.

Advice on ECU Diagnosis & replacement

1 - Scan the vehicle with a diagnostic scanner & record fault codes – rectify any faults recorded here first & check the wiring for faults.

2 - If your ECU has ‘No communication’ with a diagnostic scanner it is essential that you check relevant fuses and consult a wiring diagram for your vehicle and verify the power supply & test the wiring to your ECU – particularly test power supply relays (Engine control relay). – ECU’s returned due to misdiagnosis are subject to a 20% restocking charge.

3 - If you are not a qualified / experienced auto electrician or garage technician and you are unsure if the problem with your car is the ECU then please consult one first before ordering – there is a 20% restocking charge for returns due to misdiagnosis.

4 - If your fault is a cylinder misfire please check spark plugs / leads / coil / injectors and wiring faults / headgasket faults etc before ordering, if these have been checked or replaced then it is important to check inlet manifolds for leaks, engine compression & perform a vacuum gauge test to check for valve problems.
