Romek and Guido are seventeen years old and their whole lives ahead of them. Their dreams are no different from those of other teenagers - they want to listen to music, swing dance, date girls. Were it not for the circumstances, they could be best buddies. Unfortunately, they meet in 1943. Guido serves in a branch of the German gendarmerie, stationed in the Polish province. In her spare time, she listens to banned English-language radio stations broadcasting jazz and stealthily falls in love with beautiful France. Meanwhile, Romek helps his mother by working as a driver's assistant. Like Guido, he is interested in Frank. One day, wanting to impress a girl, he steals a suitcase with records and a patheon. The event will cause the roads of Romek and Guido to intersect, forcing the boys to make a decision that will change their lives forever.
