"Love, Fear and the Time Machine", the group's sixth studio album. The cover design was done by a longtime collaborator of the band Travis Smith Seempieces | Illustration & Design (Katatonia, Opeth, etc.).
Mariusz Duda commented on the new album "Love, Fear and the Time Machine": "With the latest album I wanted to combine the 70s and the 80s musically. The 1980s was the decade in which I grew up musically and grew up. On the newest album, we no longer have a retro sound that evokes the atmosphere of the 70s, we went forward, in some way we broke the previous foundation and created a new one. The lyrics on "Love, Fear and the Time Machine" talk about transformation. About making a life decision that everyone has to face at times. A decision that has a significant impact on our further life. What usually happens to us when we have to make such a life decision? On the one hand, we feel excited about the change, we feel free, excited, on the other hand, we are afraid of the unknown, of what may happen to us. We go back with our memories, we run our thoughts forward. It all happens at a time when we have to decide on something important. Hence the title of the album - love, fear, experiences from the past - these are the most important driving forces that guide us. I would like this album, apart from the fact that it will be just great played, recorded and sung, above all, that it talked about something important and was one of those albums that at some point become your best friend ”.
In addition, Riverside is working on a bonus album called "Day Session", which will be a brighter equivalent to the release of "Night Session" included by the group on the previous album "Shire Of New Generation Slaves".
