These excellent connectors have a double locking system which prevents the connector from pulling apart - the pins/sockets lock into place, and then the outer housing locks together. If the pins/sockets have not been pushed in correctly, the outer housing will not lock. They also have an internal waterproof seal to complement the wire seals.
