Offered for sale is an Antique bisque baby doll by the J. D. Kestner Company. The doll is 18 inches long with sleeping brown glass eyes. It has its original plaster pate and mohair wig. It has an open-closed mouth with no molded teeth. The circumference of the head is 13.5 inches.  It is on a five piece original composition body. It is dressed only in underwear and satin booties. The doll is marked:

The head has no damage nor repair. It has slight rubbing on one cheek. The body has been repainted and there is roughness on the right arm, but has all the great modeling and folds of a Kestner baby body. The hands have all the fingers.
