MWC G10BH 50m PVD Stealth

This MWC G10PVD like all MWC 50m rated G10BH models retains the battery hatch which is a design feature that has been discarded by most other manufacturers, it also has been fitted with impact resistant glass, using actual glass means that the watch is very resistant to minor scratches and also gives the watch a much cleaner and more streamlined appearance. They are also the only manufacturer producing standard European Infantry specification watches in a non reflective black PVD finish.

The special matt black finish is required by many special forces units. The steel case is not black all the way through because the black finish is created by a special chemical PVD plating process which is vastly superior to the painted finish used by other manufacturers which can fade or rub off. The PVD process alters the colour of the steel at a molecular level, which means it will not deteriorate through heavy usage although it can be damaged if gouged against rocks or something similar.

If you are looking for a solid black stainless steel military watch that is both discreet and water resistant to 50m then this Special Forces model is ideal.   

The G10 Stealth is very rugged and designed to survive the most extreme conditions. This model has impact resistant glass, using actual hardened mineral glass means that the watch is very resistant to minor scratches and also gives the watch a much cleaner and more streamlined appearance. With the exception of MWC most other manufacturers such as CWC still continue to use plastic/acrylic glasses for their G10 watches. The watch also uses Super-Luminova for improved night time visibility. Super-Luminova operates like a light battery. After sufficient activation by sunlight or artificial light, they glow in the dark until the luminosity gradually diminishes although larger markings are often visible for the whole night. This activation and subsequent light emission process can be repeated again and again, and the material does not suffer any ageing. The other advantage is that Super-Luminova pigments are absolutely free of radioactivity.

MWC’s G10BH 50m Stealth is one of their most tried and tested G10 models and in its earlier variants has been in service for over 20 years. A large number of soldiers serving in both Iraq and other locations have evaluated this new model over lengthy periods and all reports have been very favourable.

The G10BH is supplied with a current military issued black webbing strap. 

You can also choose to add an additional strap in various colour options or choose from the MWC 20mm strap range. 

The back of the case bears various contract markings and the battery hatch design detail which is very popular for historical reasons. .
