Estate fresh as found and as shown both censers are in very good condition displaying minimal minor appropriate signs of age and use such as surface scratches, blemishes, nicks, and as made tool flaws throughout as well as scratches, splits, and nicks to the wood covers. Providing further evidence to age a dark natural patina covers much of the silver inlay and hand worked bronze surfaces more so on one of the censers. Small areas of verdigris are also noted.
The censers were both acquired from the same estate therefore being sold as a pair. It should be noted that they are not identical(also giving proof to age). Although we prefer they stay together we will consider selling separately. Please message us with inquiries.
