The most beautiful and highly collectible porcelain that can be found today, were once in ships as trade commodities between China, Europe and the United States. This porcelain, now known as "Chinese Export," with gorgeous patterns such as Canton, Rose Medallion, Fitzhugh, and Bird and Butterfly which is what I have here. Chinese Export was made in China between the years 1780 and 1880 and a little into the 20th century.


Famille rose is French for "Pink Family” is a type of Chinese porcelain from the 18th century and known for its pink hues color overglaze enamel and was also popular in the 18th and 19th century, and it continued in the 20th century.
