It is painted over a grey gesso ground in an Impressionist/Expressionist
manner using a palette knife with thick heavy textured impasto.
The paint is roughly mixed and vigorously applied
in a style is influenced by Welsh painter Sir Kyffin Williams
and Vincent Van Gogh.
