Sango Nova Blue China. This is a set of four square plates. My wife says they are cake plates. I can tell you that they are square and could hold any number of things and you shouldn't feel limited to just cake.

There are no large chips or cracks in the China. They do show some wear and use but not so much that these wouldn't be looked at as "breaking out the fancy stuff".
